A recent investigation by researchers from the security company Safety Detectives, which specializes in analyzing anti-virus solutions, revealed a massive data leak of at least 214 million users worldwide, belonging to the platforms Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, affecting even celebrities and influencers.

All this data that was leaked is in a database without any protection and can be accessed by anyone who knows your IP address, which contains more than 408 GB of data and more than 318 million records.
The company notes that the database contains personal information, including private data such as names, email addresses, and even phone numbers, among others. Behind this new data, the leak is Socialarks, a Chinese company specializing in branding on social networks, which in August of last year had already suffered from another similar data leak, revealing the data of 150 million users of Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

In detail, the researchers found 11,651,162 Instagram user profiles, 66,117,839
LinkedIn user profiles, 81,551,567 Facebook user profiles, in addition to
55,300,000 other Facebook profiles that were removed shortly after the
researchers' team discovered.
