Soon people can talk to deceased family members thanks to "Ghostbot" AI.

The app will then allow living relatives to interact with their loved ones from behind the grave through smart devices such as Amazon Alexa or Google Nest.
The technology will also see 2D or 3D models of the deceased created with the images.
Microsoft's patent says that social data will be used to "create or edit a special index on the topic of a specific person's personality."But critics said that while the "ghost" could help people through the grieving process, some referred to it as a "frightening and terrifying" experience.
"The private index can be used to train a chatbot to speak and interact with the character of a specific deceased person," Microsoft adds.
Techrepublic.com described the idea as "interesting and terrifying" while tech blogger Ubergizmo said: "We admit that it may be somewhat nostalgic to be able to" talk "to a deceased loved one over the Internet as a chatbot can imitate this person in a form. Realistic.
