Renault will replace couriers with unmanned EZ-PRO capsules (15 photos + video)

 

A few months ago, we saw for the first time the Renault EZ-GO, the autonomous prototype of the French brand for the transport of people. Now the company has used this platform for a completely different concept. Renault EZ-PRO is a purely professional vehicle which aims to ensure rapid delivery of goods in large cities.

It is an autonomous vehicle that does not need a driver, so it has a large cargo space, but a seat for one person is always provided. The travel route is defined by a remote center, the location of which is not significant. Cars can move in a column, separating for delivery and return after a certain period of service.

Another advantage of the Renault EZ-PRO is its ability to adapt thanks to a series of customizable modules, it can be transformed into a coffee machine, a small store or an automatic parcel dispenser.

Although this is only a concept, the company has promised to release the first vehicles by 2030.
