Firefox on Android has been updated with a new way to install add-ons

If you use Firefox on your Android mobile phone, you are in luck, because Mozilla is simplifying the dynamics in terms of installing add-ons, with the arrival of Firefox 85, Mozilla wants to make it easier for users to install add-ons. So it will no longer be necessary to install new extensions from the add-on manager, but we can go directly to the browser from add.mozilla.org, following the same dynamics as the desktop version.

Although Firefox's Extension Manager for Android has a simple process, since it only requires a few clicks to install any extension, Muzuaa wants to maintain consistency between the dynamics that the desktop version provides with the mobile app.

So this could be a new feature that users are interested in as they will not notice a different dynamic between the two versions. Of course, this new system can only be implemented with official add-ons from the Firefox add-on store, but if you want to install add-ons outside the store, you will have to use one of the browser trial versions to install other add-ons

This new version of Firefox will be available from January 25, so if you are interested, you can search for the update on Google Play or wait for it to update automatically.
