The media revealed that the US space agency, NASA, in addition to the JPL-Caltech Laboratory, has approved a new version of the Spot robot, which is a version directed to work on the surface of Mars and will bear the name Mars Dog, where the mission of this new robot will be to discover Not only the surface of Mars, as it is the case with the spacecraft currently there, but also beneath the surface of this planet in caves, where it is possible that under the surface of Mars a suitable place for humans to live.
The Spot Robot will be an excellent tool for discovering Mars, due to its smoothness and ability to move in difficult environments such as the red planet, as it is faster than the Curiosity spacecraft currently on the surface of Mars and is lighter in weight, which gives it greater ability to move and discover more locations.
