Be careful ! Cheap hard drives that originally have flash memory inside them

When we see a cheap hard disk in an online store, be it eBay, Aliexpress, or something else, it warns us that something is not right.

Hard drives of famous brands specializing in this subject have a price that is dropping year by year, but it will take a long time to reach 2 TB offers for $ 30 as it appears in some stores now.

Now the issue begins to appear after some complaints on reddit, where the image above appears, which is a cheap hard drive after opening it and the flash was discovered inside, although there may also be several of them to give more space.

- If we connect 3 flash drives, for example, with an area of 16 GB each, for example, we will have 48 GB, yes, but it will be impossible to save a file of more than 16 GB in size on this "hard disk". This is something that annoyed some users who commented on the reddit post : "Now I can explain why the game told me my hard drive doesn't have enough space."

Flash memory is more prone to data loss, as it degrades more easily than hard disk.

As you can see in the video below, it is possible to identify the problem using the program, without having to open the disc. In this video, an 8 GB external hard drive was purchased.

You actually have to pay attention to what you are buying. If it says "Hard Drive" it's one thing, if it says "Solid State Drive" it might be something else.
